Sonasoft Bags in HP to Resell Its Backup and Recovery Software
In a recent announcement, Sonasoft said that Hewlett Packard (HP) will resell its backup and recovery software for Microsoft Exchange, SQL and Windows servers. As a result, Customers can directly buy Sonasoft software from HP along with HP-Compaq hardware.
Sonasoft provides Point-Click Recovery solutions for Microsoft SQL, Exchange and Windows servers. The company claims that the SonaSafe solution is centralized management based software that provides automated disk-to-disk backup and recovery via an easy-to use point and click GUI.
"The new relationship is a win-win-win proposition for HP, HP's SMB & Enterprise customers and Sonasoft. It significantly expands Sonasoft's market reach and enables HP to provide data protection and data recovery solutions for their customers' mission critical applications including Microsoft Exchange Server,” said Vince Khanna, Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Sonasoft.
He further added that HP's website would now become a one-stop shop for satisfying the backup and recovery needs of small and medium businesses.
